How can picture books support the geographical inquiry process?
This 1-hour Webinar will examine the actions of the character Liam in the picture book The Curious Garden by Peter Brown to determine the dispositions of a junior geographer and the steps in the geographical inquiry process. Through The Curious Garden, flow charts and other resources we will show how geographical skills and concepts are embedded into geographical inquiry. We will then explore some examples of picture books that can be used to support geographical inquiry.
