Riley will give a brief overview of Sport Integrity Australia (formerly ASADA), and feature:

  •  a suite of resources to help develop students’ understanding of drugs in sport through interactive activities
  • education resources designed to help understand the health effects of doping and the anti-doping testing process
  • provide real-life case studies that can be used when teaching this topic

Completing via live video conference (zoom) Teach your students about Drugs in Sport through interactive games and simulated experiences before 31 July under NESA’s interim arrangements will contribute 1 hour of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Elective PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW curriculum addressing the following standard descriptors from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.  6.2.2 – Participate in learning to update knowledge and practice targeted to professional needs and school and/or system priorities. 

Completing via live video conference (zoom) Teach your students about Drugs in Sport through interactive games and simulated experiences could contribute 1 hour of Teacher Identified professional learning for ACT Teachers.
