Session 3: Experiments for Earth, day/ night and landforms as well as Material World
This program aims to support teachers with the science they need to know & how those concepts build over time. It allows them to realise what can be left out. Easy to do science experiments for each of the strands will provide teachers with ideas on how to use everyday materials & objects to do science in a classroom.
For both experienced and less-experienced primary (science) teachers alike, the program will offer interactive seminars and hands on workshops from experienced, practising STANSW members who have run previous professional learning workshops for K-6 colleagues. Join with like-minded Primary teachers for up to three twilight sessions of discussion, networking and sharing.
