You’re invited to the SwiftUI workshop.

Helping students make great looking software apps can be challenging. With SwiftUI, Swift and Xcode on a Mac you can teach students the principles of good user interface design and software engineering using the same tools used by real app developers.

The goal of these workshop is to continue to introduce secondary teachers to Xcode on a Mac and hands-on examples, showing possible approaches to teach app user interface design to high school students. The three hands-on sessions during the school holidays will be tailored to the needs of the attendees and will involve a deep dive into app design.

The sessions will be presented by Apple Professional Learning Specialist, Dr. Daniel Woo. He has extensive commercial, education and R&D experience in user interface design and engineering. He has worked across the arts, education, science and engineering.

After our successful introductory webinar on we are facilitating 3 workshops during the second week of the school holidays – September 28, 29 and 30 at 10am.

Meeting details will be emailed to registered participants prior to the workshop. Workshops begin at 10.00am Sydney time (AEST) each day.

The recording of the introductory webinar can be found for ICTENSW members in the Resource section of the website http://ictensw.org.au
