Whether you are in your first year, mid-career or a department head, the STANSW mentoring program suite is providing a collegial space for you to learn, grow and thrive as you develop your leadership skills and support you along your teaching career. You can join in for one year or perhaps use the program as a regular process that is supportive of your professional development meeting the Australian Professional standards for teachers over time.
The Early Career Teachers Course will offer range of areas and strategies to help you survive and thrive in your first years as an Early Career teacher. Sessions will be held in admin and risk assessment reporting, WHS, running safe pracs, classroom management, parent teacher interviews, becoming proficient and NESA requirements, reading the Syllabus and writing assessments.
