This intensive workshop for Drama students completing HSC Drama in 2018 is not to be missed. Students will have the opportunity to further refine their essay writing skills in preparation for their written exam.
Sessions will be presented by experienced Drama teachers who will help students with the following:
• Unpacking the rubric and key terminology in questions
• Writing engaging examples to support their discussion and prove their knowledge of the plays and theatrical techniques and conventions
• Exploring and addressing how to approach the essay question Sessions on the following topics will be available; Dramatic Traditions in Australia,
Contemporary Australian Theatre Practice, Tragedy, Approaches to Acting, Black Comedy, Verbatim Theatre, Multi-Discipline Theatre and Significant Plays of the 20th Century.
