Participants will be supported to encourage students to use and reflect on all of their linguistic resources including their first language or dialect. Through the use of joint construction, drama strategies and scaffolds for writing participants will be supported to move the English classroom beyond an English-only zone to include students’ creative multilingual and multimodal repertories in both writing and representing.
