This innovative professional development opportunity provides an immersive writing experience within the Sydney Harbour National Park and Q Station, Manly.
Teachers will explore and practise different pedagogies for poetry, including group and individual work, drafting, writing, feedback and reflecting. Teachers will adapt a unit on Writing People and Poetry suitable for their context, consider their own action research project to monitor the impact of writing practice, and develop skills in zine production. Teachers will also participate in two webinar sessions to receive full accreditation for this comprehensive professional development.
