This NESA endorsed course has been designed for teachers who will be teaching the NESA Commerce Syllabus (2019) for the first time in 2021. Presenters include teachers of Commerce- Joe Alvaro {Member of the NESA Commerce 7-10 Syllabus (2019) Subject Expert Reference Group, President of EBE NSW}, Carolyn Muir and Roset Khair (covenors, EBE directors, teachers of Commerce) and industry experts from the Reserve Bank of Australia, Christina You and Gigi Lovicu.
It will also be beneficial for teachers who have already taught Commerce in the distant past and are in need of a refresher course. This course will look at effective teaching and learning strategies designed to engage students. It will also cover assessment procedures and techniques. Useful teaching and learning resources will be available for each participant.
