Physical Activity and Sport Studies (PASS)

The full-day workshop covers:

• Unpacking the syllabus and identifying links across modules
• Exploring opportunities for embedding movement application into learning programs
• Creating quality assessment tasks
• Planning and structuring your PASS scope and sequence.

Who should attend?
Teachers who are new to teaching PASS or teachers who are responsible for revising existing PASS programs.

This event will be run to the Covid safe requirements of the venue.

Accreditation
Completing Teaching Stage 6 PDHPE for the 1st time after 4 February 2022 under NESA’s interim arrangements will contribute 5 hours of NESA elective PD in the priority area of delivery and assessment of NSW curriculum – addressing standard descriptors 1.5.2, 2.2.2, 2.3.2, 3.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
