This course will address the new Numeracy Stage 6 syllabus. Participants will familiarise themselves with the content as well as developing effective techniques for both teaching and assessing the content in their classroom and connecting it to real world situations.
The course will run as 2 x 2-hour evening sessions online.
Session 1 – Introduction to the numeracy syllabus, diagnostic testing, module 1 and module 2
Session 2 – Module 3, module 4 and assessment and reporting
