This workshop will be held in a Live Video Conference (Zoom) format.

The workshop has been developed for Stage 6 PDHPE and CAFS teachers.

Participants will split into smaller groups to look at subject-specific areas during the day.

This workshop will support teachers to unlock some of the secrets to improving students performance in Stage 6 PDHPE and CAFS. 

The sessions will look at the HSC marking and judging process, mastering HSC multiple choice questions, providing quality feedback and understanding quality responses.

Who should attend:

Experienced PDHPE and CAFS teachers who have been teaching the Stage 6 course for a number of years.

  • Understanding the performance standards
  • Supporting students to improve their performance
  • Quality practices and feedback

Professional Teaching Standards:

Completing via live video conference (zoom) delivery the Improving Student Performance in Stage 6 PDHPE & CAFS workshop, held on  8 November 2021 under NESA’s interim arrangements will contribute 5 hours of NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Elective PD in the priority area of Delivery and assessment of NSW curriculum addressing standard descriptors 2.2.2, 5.2.2., 5.3.2, 6.2.2 from the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers towards maintaining Proficient Teacher Accreditation in NSW.
