This will be a free online forum for ANATS members, run by the ANATS NSW committee for the presentation and discussion of vocal warm ups for teachers to use with their vocal students across a range of styles – classical, CCM and Music Theatre. It will include a discussion of SOVT (semi-occluded vocal tract) exercises, as well as how to use the exercises for warm ups, cool downs and technical skill development.
Participants will update their knowledge on vocal warm ups and how they can be targeted for different styles of vocal music (Classical, CCM and Music Theatre). Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the range of warm ups and how they can benefit their students. They will also learn vocal warm ups for specific vocal problems such as register transitions, onset and tonal quality
