Throughout the one-day course, participants will explore the why, how and what of the M in STEM and planning for ‘big picture’ investigations, particularly the measurement and data strands where the outcomes are explored, evidenced and evaluated in student learning.

Participants will review inquiry learning and efficient questioning strategies that encompass the ‘big ideas’ of mathematics and build mathematical reasoning. Investigating how to map and track outcomes as part of inquiry-based learning and teaching strategies, participants will delve into what evidence of assessment in mathematics looks like in STEM.
