Application for NEW Courses only for Validation at Proficient Level.
Terms and Conditions:
(a) Applications are to be submitted using the online form
(b) Provide a revised and updated application to IELA within five (5) working days of receipt of feedback from the PTC NSW Professional Learning Committee
(c) Provide a full list of participants no later than ten (10) working days after the event.
Applicants agree to adhere to these terms and conditions and understand that failure to comply with these conditions will result in an association incurring an administration fee. Associations not compliant will also be deemed ineligible to submit further applications for endorsement of courses until all necessary information has been provided to PTC.
#Indicate hours and minutes in the following way, e.g. one and a half hours to be represented as 1hr 30m.
#Increments in 15 minutes only.
Please note: If you apply for an event which runs for multiple days, participants will be required to attend all days to receive the indicative hours. If any participant fails to attend any one day, they will not receive ANY elective hours. If you require participants to be validated for each individual day, please apply for each day SEPARATELY. eg. “DEF NSW Conference Day 1, DEF NSW Conference Day 2”.

These teachers create effective teaching and learning experiences for their students. They know the unique backgrounds of their students and adjust their teaching to meet students’ individual needs and diverse cultural, social and linguistic characteristics. They develop safe, positive and productive learning environments where all students are encouraged to participate.
They design and implement engaging teaching programs that meet curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements. They use feedback and assessment to analyse and support their students’ knowledge and understanding. Proficient teachers use a range of sources, including student results, to evaluate their teaching and to adjust their programs to better meet student needs.
In this section, applicants are required to:
(a) identify the Australian Standards to be addressed by this professional development activity at Proficient level e.g. 1.1.2…etc.

If your submission does not adequately provide sufficient information about your course in relation to the standards you have chosen, your application will be delayed and you will be requested to resubmit.
