HIDDEN Rookwood is a FREE public event running from sunrise to sunset Saturday 7 September until Monday 7 October 2019
HIDDEN is an outdoor sculpture exhibition that takes place amongst the gardens and graves in one of the oldest sections of the Rookwood Cemetery. The exhibition invites artists to ponder the notion of history, culture, remembrance and love and allows audiences to witness creative expression hidden throughout Australia’s largest and most historic cemetery
Now in it’s 11th year, there are two new programs – HIDDEN Rookwood Films and HIDDEN Rookwood Students. The student artworks will be showcased alongside sculptures and installations within the main exhibition. Video and moving image art will also be exhibited as part of HIDDEN Rookwood Sculptures.
