VADEA Regional Inspire Riverina is a professional development day for visual arts and design teachers from 8.45am to 3.30pm followed by VADEA Regional Indulge Riverina from 4:00pm to 5:30pm.
James Fallon High School will host the day, for visual arts and design teachers to share resources, new ideas, programs and learning strategies. The program will include an initial series of short presentations from visual arts educators. The day will also be supported by our sponsors – S&S Wholesale Pty Ltd and Eckersley’s Art and Craft.
Artmaking Practice and Watercolour Portrait Painting Demonstration with artist Cherry Hood, Contemporary Australian artist and past winner of the Archibald Prize, Cherry Hood will outline her formative influences and discuss her methodology including colour mixing and limited
palette, incorporating brush techniques for facial details and features.
Each participant is requested to bring a Visual Arts, Visual Design or Photographic and Digital Media unit of work, program overview or resource to share in the Swap Meet afternoon session. These resources are to reflect the content of teaching and learning programs you are currently undertaking.
