Saturday 5 January until Tuesday 8 January 2019

The 2019 biennial conference of our association allows teachers to come together to learn about current knowledge related to stage 4, 5 and 6 agriculture curriculums. The agriculture and technology mandatory syllabuses contain both practical and theory content needs, so the conference aims to satisfy knowledge and learning development in both these areas.

The conference will have two days of farm industry visits that will involve teachers gaining both theory and practical understanding of a range of topics. There will be a range of sessions about animal and plant production, farm management, sustainability, development of curriculum and planning of curriculum. A number of industry and education experts will be presenting formal presentations to teachers, both on farm and in workshops.

Farm visits will occur on Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 January from 8.30am to 5.30pm.

On Monday 7 January there will be industry, saleyard and seed company visits in the morning followed by rotating workshops from 11.30am to 5.00pm,.
