the challenge

We all share our playground with lots of different living things. They all have different needs and live in all sorts of different places or habitats. Sometimes the people at school make life difficult for the other living things - both plants and other animals.

Your challenge is to identify what we can do to make it a better place for everything to live in.

design brief

To investigate the school environment and propose some action to make it a better place in which things can live.

Your proposal must include information about the area or issue, a simple action plan including diagrams or images to show each step, the positive sustainable difference you made for the living things and how students imagine it will be in the future.
