Selection criteria

You must be aged 26 years or under, training to be a teacher at Charles Sturt University or the University of New England and interested in promoting the values of global citizenship.

The GEPNSW Youth Internship management team is particularly interested in selecting pre-service teachers who demonstrate knowledge of and enthusiasm about the shared principles, vision and work of AusAID through its Global Education Project. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate a commitment to service and enthusiasm for publicising the values inherent in global citizenship through engagement in communities at local, regional, rural, national and/or international levels.

To apply for the GEPNSW Youth Internship please complete parts I and II of the application.

Applications close at 5pm on Sunday 29 April 2012.

If you are shortlisted you will be contacted on Wednesday 2 May 2012.

Interviews will take place via video conferencing on Thursday 3 May and Friday 4 May 2012.
