Professional Development - How we can help

Member associations of the Professional Teachers' Council NSW provide the great majority of professional development activities and curriculum support materials used in NSW schools and play a vital role in the development and implementation of new syllabuses and courses.

Each semester these associations offer K-12 teachers, in metropolitan and regional locations, a rich array of value for money professional development opportunities including conferences, workshops, seminars and subject specific student days. The current semester's PTC Professional Development Calendar lists over 80 PD events. A reminder of up-coming PD events is also posted in the News section on the home page.

"Professional associations … play an important role in enriching and enhancing the quality of teaching, curriculum support, educative leadership, and school development in general.”
