2007 Media Awards
The Professional Teachers’ Council NSW Media Awards are presented annually to a person or persons working in the media industry for their positive portrayal of the work of teachers and schools and their recognition of the value to the community of teaching as a profession.
The 2007 Awards were presented at the PTC Annual Presentation Evening on 11 December 2007. Awards were presented by The Hon. John Della Bosca, MLC, Minister for Education and Training.
The Professional Teachers’ Council NSW would like to congratulate the following award recipients:
Media Award 2007 – Richard Aedy, ABC Radio National – Life Matters
The award presented by The Hon. John Della Bosca was received by Amanda Armstrong, Executive Producer of Life Matters on behalf of Richard Aedy.
Regional Media Award 2007 – Tony Pritchard, WIN Television
Tony Pritchard of WIN Television Wagga Wagga was presented with his award by The Hon. John Della Bosca at the PTC NSW Presentation Evening in December 2007
Nominations for 2008 Media AwardsNominations are now open for the 2008 Media Awards.
Entries will be accepted up to the closing date of 5pm Friday 17 October 2008.
